PAC R is a ployanionic cellulose blend for use in drilling and completion water-based fluids. PAC R provides fluid loss control and supplementary viscosity in fresh water, seawater and saturated salt systems.

• Stable at temperatures above 150ºC (300ºF).
• Does not require a bactericide.

PAC R is a water based drilling fluids filtration control agent which will slightly increases viscosity of the drilling fluid.

In low solids muds, PAC R forms a thin filter cake with low permeability that protects porous formation from filtration invasion.

For filtrate control in salt-water muds:        2.85 - 5.70 kg/m³ (0.5 – 3 Lb / bbl)
For filtrate control in fresh-water muds:     1.43 - 3.85 kg/m³ (0.25-1.5 Lb/ bbl)
