ECOTEX is a sulfonated asphalt with soluble fraction in oil and water that permit the utilization of this product in water soluble or oil based muds.

• Can work in any type mud system and is very effective at stabilizing formation   and for fluid loss control.
• The high solubility content permits this product to obtain higher penetration in    the   formation therefore resulting in better stabilization.

ECOTEX is a complete additive for reducing HT/HP filtration loss and forms a thin flexible filter cake, reducing torque and drag. ECOTEX seals small fractures in stressed shale formations and minimizes spurt loss or seepage into a permeable zone.

Recommended treatment for ECOTEX is 2-6 lb./bbl.
