ECOMOD is a gellant in the ECOMUL 100 - 100% oil base mud systems and works with organophyllic clay to provide viscosity. I can be used in diesel, mineral, paraffin or synthetic base systems. It is used to increase viscosity and carrying capacity of 100% oil base systems to support barite and suspend cuttings generated while minimizing increases in plastic viscosity

ECOMOD should be mixed in the ECOMUL 100 oil base mud system when preparing fresh mud. ECOMOD should be mixed through the rig hopper. Treat the fresh mud system with 2-6 ppb. Treat system as needed with 0.25 - 2 ppb during drilling
operations to provide and maintain viscosity. It can be used for sweeps to clean the hole or in a spacer fluid.
