Ecoglycol-H, a mixture of high molecular weight polypropylene glycols, is an excellent lubricant and shale inhibitor. It is dispersible in all types of water-based fluids, is not affected by contaminants, and will not significantly affect the rheologial properties of drilling, completion or work over fluids. Ecoglycol-H inhibits the swelling of reactive formations, reduces torque and drag and increases penetration rates. It is particularly effective in horizontal drilling applications.

Add to drilling fluids at 2% to 5% for most applications. Use more as required for severe torque and drag.
